MySpace-the social networking site that EVERYONE seems to have is trying to expand itself and rival that of Apple's iTunes. MySpace is in the works to develop a program that will service the online community similar to what iTunes does. They will offer ad supported download services for music that you can purchase and keep. They are in the talks with major record labels to see if they can make this happen.
Currently, you can buy songs/videos/movies/tv shows and more on iTunes for a price-but you get to keep it forever.
So, will MySpace succeed in their new endeavor? We have to wait and see. They are still in the beginning stages of their idea.
We say, we dunno if MySpace can pull something like this off...we are sure it will be a hit and make loads of money, but we think iTunes will remain number one. But that's just us!
