WHAT, It's Beatle Mania on "American Idol"

Did you watch American Idol?? It was Beatles night-giving the contestants more opportunities to butcher great songs (Kristy Lee Cook-8 Days A Week anyone??) Our favorite rocking nurse, Sweeney Todd Amanda Overmyer kicked off the show with "Back In The U.S.S.R" and she rocked as usual. Kristy Lee Cook came out and thank GOD did not butcher another song-but she was decent. David Archuleta REDEEMED HIMSELF 10000%-he was amazing and everyone loved it and he will be back no doubt about it!

Michael Johns-out favorite aussie was pretty good. The judges were not fans tonight-but they loved David Archuleta.

Brooke White was decent and not nearly as good as last week when she sang "Let It Be"

David Cook rocked out to his song choice with a full on guitar solo and flashing lights and the judges were torn-as usual. Randy and Paula loved it and Simon hated it.

Carly Smithson-or as Simon refers to her "The Irish girl" changed it up and sang a slower, softer type ballad and was good.

Jason Castro sang "Michelle" and had to learn french for the song and sounded great for his first time learning French a few days before and sang the song very well.

Syesha sang "Yesterday" and did really well. Sounded good and did a good version of the song.

Chikezie sang "I've Seen A Face" and was good-nothing spectacular to us but he was ok.

Ramiel was last and I thought was very good-she sounded good and had fun.
