In another classic horror movie remake, hollywood is taking on Wes Craven. This time, they are doing a remake of "Last House On The Left". The original movie came out in 1972 and for its graphic nature it was considered very scary to most audiences and the graphic nature of the scenes (sexually and with violence) struck a cord with movie goers everywhere! We hear that the original before it was released, the movie studios tried to cut some stuff out, but Wes Craven demanded it be kept as it was.
From EW.com, Tony Goldwyn (The Last Samurai) and Monica Potter (Saw) have joined Garret Dillahunt (No Country For Old Men, The Assassination of Jesse James) in Rogue's remake of Wes Craven's seminal 1972 horror movie Last House on the Left. The project also stars Rhys Coiro, Martha MacIsaac, and Riki Lindhome. Dennis Iliadis (Hardcore) is directing. The story is about a pair of teenaged girls who are kidnapped, tortured, and murdered by a group of thugs who then unknowingly take refuge at the house of one of their victim's families. The family, of course, exacts its revenge on the killers once they learn their identity. Shooting is scheduled to begin this month.
We say, we will probably see it and we hope they dont mess it up too much because it sounds really good. Lets hope!
