WHAT, FX Sweeps Up "Dirt"

FX has announced that the Courteney Cox sitcom, "DIRT" would not be back for a 3rd season! That sucks! We loved "Dirt" and thought the show was great and funny and we cant believe it didnt do as well as it did considering how the world is obsessed with celebrities.

We say, bring "Dirt" back! At least it lives on in DVDS.

WHAT, Be A Scream Queen

VH1-who has some of the best reality shows on tv right now-is coming out with a new one-that actually sounds really interesting. It is called "Scream Queen" and its going to try and find a new actress for a horror movie.

We say, we like! We need a good horror movie-because its been awhile. But we think it will be interesting to see these girls try out for it and see how well they can act. Do you think Heidi Montag will show up to audition? No? Well, either way, now you have a visual and THAT would be some damn good television!

WHAT, Bromance Is Coming

Brody Jenner is getting his own reality show. Yes. At least its not Heidi and Spencer right? Brody's new show is called "Bromance". According to Yahoo, here is what they say the show is about: The show, from Ryan Seacrest's production company, will feature a group of "regular guys" who come to Hollywood and compete in a series of challenges, from skydiving to dealing with the paparazzi -- in hopes of being chosen by Jenner to become part of his entourage.

We say, this sounds like Paris's new reality show to find her best friend. Do you really think they will end up hanging out with these "regular" people after the show ends? We think not, but at least it will be some good tv....we hope.

WHAT, First Look

Take a look at Mariah on the Hawaii set of her new music video for her 3rd single "I'll Be Loving You Long Time". T.I. Is supposedly filming the video with her and doing a remix of the song.

We say, she is looking damn good still! But we dunno how we feel about the song choice. "Bye, Bye" was overlooked-we think because of all the press her marriage got, but there are so many good songs to choose from. We think for the 4th single it should be "Love Story", "Migrate", "Side Effects" or "I Stay In Love".

She can do no wrong in our eyes anyway....;)

WHAT, They Bore Us

Heidi and Spencer bore us! They are tired and faker than her boobs. They were seen buying guns. WTF? When asked what they were buying guns for, Spencer said "it is for Heidi's protection."

We say, protection from what? Every photo-op they have is planned by THEM! Unless the fans of "The Hills" finally found out their "reality" is scripted and their relationship is faker than Dina Lohan's parenting skills.

WHAT, Did They Split?

Lindsay Lohan and her lesbian lovers good friend, DJ Samantha Ronson are rumored to be "broken up". Apparently the two got into a huge fight at dinner with Linds ignoring her the entire time then maknig a huge scene and storming out.

We also hear that Lindsay was seen moving out of Samantha's home that they have been rumored to be sharing for the past few months.

We say, that sucks! Lindsay is like a nomad and we know she isnt going to her crazy mom's home in LI with "Living Lohan" filming its first and final season. Hey, just sayin'!

WHAT, She Popped Finally

Jessica Alba has had her baby. Does anyone care? Not really-not with the looming possible birth of Angelina's twins (can she get anymore perfect?).

The rumors are that Brad and Angie are being offered upwards of $15 million for the first pics of their twins-completely trumping JLO and her $6 million she got for her twins.

We say, we have yet to hear an offer from People for Jessica Alba, but OK! is always looking for exclusives, no? Hold out Jessica for the $$.

WHAT, The After Effects

The Writers strike is seeming like a distant memory now, but some networks are still feeling the bumps of it all. The FX Network which houses, Nip/Tuck, Dirt, Damages and Rescue Me has not announced when the hit shows will return. Some are saying Damages and Rescue Me will come back in 2009-AT THE EARLIEST!! FX has not given word on whether or not Dirt or The Riches will come back for new seasons.

We say, bring back DIRT!!!!!

In the 1990 movie Ghost, which went on to become a huge hit and make hundreds of millions of dollars world wide, went through many casting choices before finally landing on Patrick and Demi. The role that Demi played originally went to Molly Ringwald (remember her-from the 80's?) well she auditioned for the role and won it, then backed out at her agent's request-and that was a decision that she regrets even today.

We say, that sucks! That might have been the role that gave her a new career.

WHAT, Everyone Has Their Own Show

Rapper T.I who has had major legal troubles in the past is documenting it all for his new reality show for MTV. MTV has ordered eight episodes of a reality show focused on rapper T.I. doing community service ahead of his one-year prison sentence, which he will start serving in the spring of 2009. The untitled Ish Entertainment series has already captured T.I.'s release from house arrest and will begin shooting full-time this summer as he performs his 1,000 hours of community service. The show will also chronicle the release of his new album, Paper Trail, and the birth of his first child, and will likely air soon after T.I. goes to jail.

We say, We dont know how interesting or how boring this is going to be...and it seems EVERYONE is getting their own reality show. In related reality tv show news, Pam Anderson continued shooting her new reality show for E! Over the memorial day weekend.

WHAT, Casting News

This news literally has just been released. Rainn Wilson-the funny guy from "The Office" has just signed on to be in the new Transfomers 2 movie! The sequel – which begins filming this summer – is slated for a 2009 release. Shia LeBeouf, Megan Fox and Josh Duhamel will all reprise their roles.

Wilson will have a small part as a college professor. He jokingly added, "A professor that turns into a car that turns into a robot."-People.com

We say, we cant wait for this movie! THe first movie was insane and the second one we are sure is going to kick ass.

WHAT, Karma Is A Bitch

Sharon Stone who said she thinks the China quakes were due to karma, got a taste of Karma this morning, when CHina has said they are BANNING all of Sharon Stone's films to be released in China. That sucks! She said at Cannes, "I'm not happy about the way the Chinese are treating the Tibetans because I don't think anyone should be unkind to anyone else," Stone said Thursday during a Cannes Film Festival red-carpet interview with Hong Kong's Cable Entertainment News. "And then this earthquake and all this stuff happened, and then I thought, is that karma? When you're not nice that the bad things happen to you?"

That prompted the founder of one of China's biggest cinema chains to say his company would not show her films in his theaters, according to a story in The Hollywood Reporter.

We say, that sucks for Sharon but then again she really hasnt had a hit film in-ages it seems, so she should have nothing to worry about! Doesnt she have a "panic publicist" person to start spinning what she said? We will have to wait and see what she says about the new ban on her films-because we are sure she has something to say about it!

WHAT, P.I.M.P Status

American Idol winner David Cook is already dating in the spotlight. He is dating former American Idol contestant, Kimberly Caldwell. They have been dating ever since David asked her out to dinner on live television on the show she co-hosts, "Idol Tonight" which airs on the TV GUIDE network. He tells People.com, "She's great, So far, I've had a really good time with her."

We say, we like them together-shes pretty damn hot too-so good for you David. But we really dont care about his relationships-we want to know when his album will drop!

WHAT, New Music

Jessica Simpson has not had a hit record-well-in a damn long time and this time with her new music-she is going country!

She said she wanted to do a country album ever since she filmed The Dukes of Hazzard.

Reviews are in for Usher's new album, Here I Stand and they are saying that he is taking it slow and is a little more mellow on this disc. We have heard the album and its not his best-we think-and we are a fan of Usher's. The first single was good and America agreed, however, other songs on the disc seem not done and just plain.

We say, go buy the album and judge for yourself!

WHAT, Sad News

Rapper Xzibit's newborn son has passed away. This is what the rapper wrote on his MySpace blog:

AS you all know, I shared with you the announcement of my newborn son Xavier Kingston Joiner on may 15th and also informed you that he was born prematurely. well this week was extremly difficult for him because his lungs were not strong enough to handle regular oxygen on his own. Xavier passed away this morning at 3:30am and I must tell you this, It is unatural for a parent to bury a child. I am telling you this because of the same reason I tell you when im having great times, life is too short to be fake. Hold on to your kids if you have them, protect them and show them you love them everyday you wake up and see them, dont take a second you get to hug them teach them and care for them for granted. You can have all the material wealth in the universe but it is NOTHING compared to having your family. I am thankful for all of my blessings and im not one to question God's perfect plan, so I leave you with great love and thanks for the love that was sent earlier on my pervious blog to my son. Of course I need to take some time and handle my loss, STAY FOCUSED PEOPLE. Its not promised to any of us.

Its a new spin on the hit 90's TV show and Lori Loughlin plays the "mom" in the series. WHAT, Bye,Bye 'Love'

Flava Flav has promised that there will be no more seasons of "Flavor of Love" because he is in love with the mother of his young child and he even proposed to her! Proposing to your baby mama-who woulda thought?!?!?

With no more show, that means no more hot messes or bitch fights-which we all loved. At least we know there is still the crazy that we know as "New York" AKA Tiffany-who, herself is engaged-but how long can that last until we get another "I Love New York"? I guess the same can be said for Flav.

We will see!

WHAT, Still Working?

Kelsey Grammer who was once the highest paid actor on television with his show "Frasier" is coming to tv-again and again. His "current" show, "Back To You" with Patricia Heaton has just been cancelled-the show was to slapstick comedy if you ask us, but now he has just signed on to star in a new pilot. From EW: Roman's Empire, a comedy from Ashton Kutcher's Katalyst Films, CBS Paramount Network TV, and ABC Studios. The show, based on a British comedy of the same name, is about an eccentric billionaire (Nick Thune) who is dumped by his girlfriend (Christine Woods) but still can't seem to get away from her wealthy family. Grammer plays the ex-girlfriend's overbearing father, Roman, an eccentric billionaire. Shooting started this week.

We say, we hope this one is better-if its based on a british show-it might be good because british comedy is the best and no one can touch it!

WHAT, Lindsay A Les?

There have always been rumors that Lindsay Lohand her DJ Pal Samantha Ronson have been together, and the rumors were even more heated last weekend when she was seen kissing Ronson on Diddy's yacht where he was throwing a party....now it looks like her dad is confirming these rumors. He says their romance "is evident to anyone with half a brain."

And also says that Lindsay "is a big girl, and she can make her own life choices. Then it is between her and God."

We say....we love the Lohans.

WHAT, More Reality TV

Matthew McConaughey's brother is getting his own reality tv show...why??? We dont know either! Rooster McConaughey, whose real name is Michael Patrick McConaughey is getting his own show called, Black Gold, which will follow the race to find oil in Texas. His job, in real life is a pipe supplier and he considers himself a "good ol' boy" and even named his son.....are you ready......Miller Lyte after his favorite beer. Enough said.

We say, the show will probably be a hit-because of what its about. What they should have a reality show is following his son and how he lives everyday with that god awful name. Just sayin'.

WHAT, It's Back

If you are a fan of "weeds" like we are, get ready! The fourth season is starting in June and we cant wait! Promos have already been aired on Showtime and we are sure the fourth season will kick ass just as much as seasons 1-3 have.

We say, its going to be good! So go get your DVD copies now of the first two seasons (I dont think 3 is out yet) and catch up before next month!

WHAT, It's All About 'Sex'

Sex and The City seems to be on everyones mind this week-since the movie opens this Friday. How do you think it will do? The new Indy flick made $311 MILLION worldwide and its only been out a week-can Sex knock it from the top spot? We dont think so-but will be surprised.

Speaking of Sex, what do you think will happen? There has been rumors EVERYWHERE of what is going to go down, and we think they are NOT getting married-just by what we can see in the trailers....

and thats what we say!

WHAT, Random Movie Trivia

Remember that random movie trivia we said we would give you with all of our random movie knowledge? Well here is some more.

We saw Dirty Dancing at least four times this weekend-it was on HBO or Showtime or something, and we remembered some things we knew about the film.

Did you know, that Jennifer and Patrick were hesitant to work with one another because of friction on their last movie together? Also, the scene where they are rehearsing her putting her arm around him and she keeps laughing-was not planned and her laughter and his annoyance was genuine and the director kept it in.

Also, probably one of the most famous scenes in the entire movie-where they are rolling around on the floor, remember? (see pic above), well they were just warming up to rehearse a scene and that was all "play", but the director had the camera rolling and kept it in the movie.

There you have it!

WHAT, She Looks Hot

Julia Roberts is seen here on the set of her new movie, "Duplicity" in the streets of Rome. She looks good for someone who had twins and who is, I believe, pregnant again.

Sydney Pollack has passed away. He was 73 years old. He was an Academy Award winning director and acclaimed movie star. He passed away at his home with family and friends by his side.

He was recently in "Michael Clayton" which was amazing and if you have not checked it out-you should def. go and rent it!

So sad.

WHAT, We Are Back!

We know its been forever since we updated, but I have been in Florida for the last two months on a work trip and I could not update as much as I would have liked, but I am back in New York and hopefully things can get back to normal and I can update on a normal basis.

WHAT, Is Lindsay Getting "Ugly"?

Reports were in even before the writers that strike that Lindsay Lohan might guest star on "Ugly Betty", well now it looks like the deal is just about finalized. The show wants Lindsay for their other season finale" which is set to air very soon. They probably want Lindsay to do what Britney did for "How I Met Your Mother" and we think Lindsay should do it! It helped Britney and Brit is even going BACK To the show to star again.

The first NEW episode of "Ugly Betty" since the writer's strike aired last night at 8pm on ABC!

We say, do it Lindsay and get some GOOD press to deter the press that is covering your partying, no?

WHAT, Sure To Be #1

Robert Downey, Jr. must be pumped to get his new movie out, “Iron Man”. The movie-which is SURE to take the number one spot-we are certain, will put the actor back at the top and back at the top of his game. Robert must be feeling good-considering have you ever seen more people be as forgiving as EVERYONE has towards him and he is now on track to score the number one movie.

We say, that’s awesome!

And, oh yeah, remember Gwyneth Paltrow? She is in the movie as well and looking damn fine!

WHAT, Is It True?

There are even more reports that Mariah and Nick Cannon have gotten married at her new house in the Bahamas. We are hoping it’s a publicity stunt-maybe to promote her new video, “Bye Bye” in which Nick Cannon has a cameo, but we are hearing it is NOT a stunt. Maybe its for Ashton’s Pop Fiction show? Maybe we are in denial!

We say, well whatever happens or happened, we just hope she had an IRON CLAD pre-nup to protect her $300+ Million fortune!!

WHAT, Who Is Going Home?

Tonight someone is getting the boot on Idol and we dont know who it may be! We think it might be Jason Castro or Brooke.

Right now there are five great contestants so it is going to be hard from here on out!

Lets hope Paula jumps up on the table dancing to a David Cook song and flashes us all....hey it could happen...if she keeps sipping that vodka! Just sayin'!

Oscar-winning director Steven Soderbergh will make a film about high-end prostitution from the viewpoint of a call girl charging clients 10,000 dollars a night, industry press said Tuesday. The film will be titled "The Girlfriend Experience," Variety reported.

He is the mastermind behind Eric Brockovich and Oceans 11...so we will probably see this movie.

We wonder who he is going to cast? Wonder what Ashley Alexandra Dupre is up to these days..AKA Spitzer's Girl.

On a side note-she tried to sue Girls Gone Wild for $10 million for allegedly putting her in videos without her consent, however, there is a new video around showing her giving her consent, totally fine.....what a dumbass! Take the offers before they stop coming in-save some money and move on!

Lindsay Lohan who has been laying low with rumors going around of her back to partying and drinking has been spending a lot more time lately with "best friend" Samantha Ronson-the DJ. Some people in her circle say Samantha is a bad influence, but others say she is a really good influence.

Well, according to People, who you can ALWAYS trust, they said the other night in NYC, at a party, Lindsay saw One of the Olson twins talking to Samantha and Lindsay came up and said, "Get your 15 year old full house ass away from my girlfriend!"

Was that the Grey Goose and Red bull talking or what?

We dont know-and we dont care-we dig Lindsay either way!

"The Hills" girls lose their clothes for the new cover of "Rolling Stone" and judging by the cover-we are sure the magazine will fly off the shelves! We have not read the article, but are sure its filled with rumors, tell-alls on the show, who is a bitch and who isnt, etc, etc, etc....

We say, what we CANT believe is Heidi was actually able to pose for a picture WITHOUT Spencer! But we are sure, he was standing close by for some "spontaneous" candids!

WHAT, Aaaand She's Back

Britney-who has been laying low in the news, but seems to be on EVERY magazine cover-due to her new body and going to the gym. But in some good news, she is returning to the small screen! Her appearance on "How I Met Your Mother" garnered the show its best ratings, and now she is coming back to the show for May sweeps-which is sure to help the show grab the number one slot, we are sure of it!

Spears first appeared on the show in late March playing a receptionist named Abby and will return to the role in an episode titled “Everything Must Go” airing May 12. In the episode, Spears and Barney (Neil Patrick Harris’s character) taunt Ted, played by Josh Radnor, by pretending they’re in a relationship. Barney, who is desperate for a response from Abby pops her a shocking question.-PEOPLE.com

WHAT, He Is Coming Back To The Screen

Mel Gibson who has had his share of downfalls in the past year or two with an arrest and "other" things, is returning to the big screen! The last time we saw Mel was back in "Signs". Gibson is to play the lead in "Edge of Darkness" adapted from a British television series entertainment daily Variety reported.

In the film, he plays a police officer whose political activist daughter is slain.

We say, we dig Mel and his movies are always genius!

WHAT, Are You Sick Of Hearing About This?

Unless you have been living under a rock the past few days, you cannot ignore the media storm that is Miley Cyrus and her Vanity Fair picture. We just want to give our opinion. She is 15-under the lens of the world criticizing her. It is just a picture-AND when Annie Liebowitz requests to take your picture for Vanity Fair-you dont say no and you DEF dont blame the picture on her!

We say, the world needs to get off her back and Miley should enjoy the free press she is getting-negative or not....she worth a reported $1 Billion-we are sure she isnt losing too much sleep over this.

She has been wearing a huge diamond ring on her ring finger, and rumors are that she is engaged to actor Nick Cannon-who stars in her new video for her new single and next number one song, "Bye, Bye"...

How can we kill this rumor?

WHAT, Expect To Be Hearing About This

Tonight on Idol, the top 5 sang twice and after they all sang once, Ryan went to the judges to get a quick rundown of what they thought...when they got to Paula she went on to say to Jason Castro "the first song was good, i liked hearing your lower register and the second song-you kind of lost it for me". With everyone looking around, Randy broke the news to her that they only sang once! Keep sippin' that soda Bacardi 151 baby! She then said "oh, I thought you sang twice! This is hard writing it all down! I must have confused you with David Cook".

We say, thats some good television-expect to hear about this ALL day tomorrow on every news channel and website...thats ok Paula-when we sip some Bacardi 151 we get a little loopy too-its all good baby!
